Seller couldn't confirm that propane detector had not been previously powered, but after receiving, it's apparent that wires hadn't been previously connected, so unlikely it's ever had 12VDC power applied. 5-year End of Life timing doesn't start until power is applied to device, so hopefully I'll get 5 years of service out of this unit. No problems or issues encountered. Excellent, A+++ eBayer!!
