    • A fast budge card, but the stock heat sink fan is barely adequate

This is still a pretty fast graphics card for today; although, it's a little dated since it only supports DirectX 11. Moreover, the stock heat sink fan is barely adequate to keep it cool. YMMV, but mine got to 99 deg C under torture test at 100% GPU use. The safe max temperature varied in user forums between 85C and 105C, so I cannot say what that is. While it functioned fine during my tests, I still felt compelled to install an aftermarket heat sink and fan to it (at my own extra expense). So, while the stock card only takes up one expansion slot in my desktop, the aftermarket heat sink fan that I chose took up two. Also, this graphics card requires a six pin power cable, and the recommended minimum power supply is 450-500W.
