    Wonderful artwork in a high quality book

    The book was a very interesting accumulation of all of Alan Lee's brilliant artwork both for the movies and the book. The different pictures also have descriptions of what Lee was thinking about while he drew them or interesting stories about the making of the movie. I highly recommend this for anyone who is a fan of the books and the movies.

    I bought this book as an artist reference and the content is so amazing! Alan Lee never fails to amaze with his work. The book details how Lee worked his magic from the sketches into development into the sets of "Lord of the Rings". If you are a fan of the trilogy, this book is a must-buy!

    Neat little collection of drawings

    A good little collection of drawings and such from the original Lord of the Rings. It's the art that inspired the movies and the thought processes that created the final product. I never had the book growing up but I'd seen it on the bookshelves and now I have it. It's a good little tome.
