Best knee pads ever...
I've used toughbuilt foam knee pads the last few year and this is an improvement. But they only lasted less than a year on average. Ther plastic knee cover probably lasted only 6-8 months. I wear them everyday, all day. I am a concrete formworker. They are the best I've used in 20 years. Comfortable, don't fall down, don't drip water down my pant leg, supportive and protective. Great, but with some cons.
8 hours on the knees is hard experience for my health. But, I get this knee pads. Now, use three weeks. Feel much better, no tired feels in the evening. Sure is some cons. Belts can be little bit softer, make some pain after work day on the back of legs. Second one, if will be knee pads ventilation, that's will be great, because after 8 hours working day, my knees is like after bath or Finnish sauna :) Little bit to heavy. Not so much, but I feel. One more thing, small rubber details on face of knee pads, Ok, I understand it's design, but stupid and very quickly hitch other knee pads and make lost of them. Very like position fix, when I stay on the legs, no stress for the legs, knees and joints. I'm 46 years old man, but after hard working day feel like 30 years. Great for floor installation
Being a tile installer one needs to work in as much comfort as possible when it comes to floor installations. I purchased these after reading the reviews and not at all satisfied with the selections at box stores. These exceeded my expectations. They're easy to fit and adjust. They stay where they"re supposed to and you can wear them all day without the back of your knee getting crinkled. The hinges and other parts don't bind and there's a good amount of velcro to help with adjustments. Superior to all
These knee pads are by far superior to anything I have used in the past 6 years. I've used all kinds, and usually wear them out in about 4 months or shorter. Right now, I have been using them every day for the last week. They are great. One little thing, after wearing them for about 4 hours, they start to create a warm spot on my chin on the bottom of the knee pad. I have to adjust them a little, but I suppose they will break in after a while or a few more hours of use. If they don't, I will update, and change my star value. Love these knee pads. I've gone through 4 pairs of knee pads in past 2 years, and each pair begins to hurt the back of my legs, and they wear out within about 4-6 months. I'm on my knees most of the day doing flooring and misc. construction tasks, and my knees cant take a whole day without something on them. These knee pads so far (1 month) have been worth every penny. They are hard, so on some surfaces they leave scuff marks, and you'll need a small piece of cardboard under them, but they are pretty comfortable. All knee pads bunch behind the knees when you have pants, but these are nearly the perfect knee pads, but they too bunch a bit if you wear them all day.
