Worth every penny! Superior versatile LED light/strobe in compact package.
Astounding amount of light (high beam) for a pocket flashlight, while low beam offers option of really long run time. Strobe feature great for self-defense use (very disorienting to attacker). I own two of these and give others for gifts. Previously figured that most of these compact 2AA LED flashlights are similar in output and features; not true, this thing is in a class by itself, way ahead of the $10-$20 ones I used to use. Light weight
Great light for me because I use it at fly out outposts where there is no electricity. As a result flashlights with rechargeable batteries are not an option. Because this light uses standard double A batteries it makes it the right choice. However after one battery began to fail it quickly destroyed the LED bulb even though the battery was removed promptly and the compartment cleaned the flashlight still had to be discarded. Very nice bright light!
I used to buy the stylus stream lights until I bought one of these and ever since I did I will never go back, these are 10 times brighter and can dim them down to where they are about as bright as a normal pen light. I love this light, I have 3 so far, they are small, durable, and light weight. They are very bright at 150 lumens and throw a good beam for their size. Is it durable?
As of having it for 6 months or so its doing the same thing that my previous onedid, i thought it was due to the Lithium batteries i had in it but the walls of this are caking up with corrosion, just like the 10 dollar mini mag at wallyworld. I suspect it to do same as them and fault out. im starting to understand elec. a bit. and believe the duration is the key. resistance builds up, this may be a result of that. in a fused link the fuse takes the blow and here the mof=re critical hardware takes the brunt. i think they should rebuild this idea with a protection circuit in it and acept lower drop on curent. so the li-ion could really get a long life in the 88033 It has a C4 bulb which reportedly does not quit working however my flashlight I had, definitely faulted out but I liked it so much I bought another to replace it when I could afford it same model 88033 In a sense yes it is but could improve. - And needs toVerified purchase: YesCondition: New
