Snake 1st aid
I travel the canyons in Arizona and Utah. You never know if one of these critters are around the corner and - BAM. You've been bitten be a snake 🐍. Hasn't happened but I figure better safe than sorry. This is a great kit. It's small and compact. don't trust the suction cups
bought this for emergencies but when i opened it up i kept thinking "where are they suctions cups to draw out the venom"? you have to use the yellow plastic container parts. they may work fine, i don't know, but i did a test on my arm, while being calm i applied a suction cup and it seemed ok to use but I WAS IN CALM STATE HAVING NO EMERGENCY! if you were by yourself and got bit by a poisonous snake and this was all that you had to use i'm not so sure you could get it to work well for you esp if only being able to use one hand and are in a panic state!. but then again, some help is better than none at all!!! These are quite good. Had one of the original snake bite kits. The original had a small scalpel which this new Coghlan's does not have. It does however have a vial of iodine. That's good. Comes with good instructions also. I purchased 2 of these. One of them was missing the constrictor band / "tourniquet". So I improvised and put in a few feet of cord that I had laying around. I would advise anyone with snakes and possibility of being bitten to have one of these. I put mine in my fishing tackle box. Hope I never have to use it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
