    Soul survivor gives us medicated goo!

    Perhaps the bargain of the year for me. I picked up a promo copy of this wonderful, long-awaited album, 50 years in the making. Sonically fabulous, intimate yet roomy and downright exciting, this is a must-have for people still passionate about their music who want to fill a room with beautiful noise. Eric Clapton lent a hand with his Dominoes and surely some of the best session musicians around can be heard providing the backing for the singly most underrated vocal talent in the business. Pat Arnold makes you sit up and feel the excitement and passion for the music once more. Whether it's the all-out assault on the opener or the most searing, soaring heart-rending ballad, this lady can sure hold a note. Reviews elsewhere have been positive too so grab onto something really special. ...
