I love this brat cooker! So easy to operate and just as easy to clean! Sausages are evenly brown all over, not just that brown stripe down each side like you'd get on grill or fry pan. I use it for browning Italian sausage before adding them to my pasta sauce! The sensor prevents any underdone sausages and it shuts off automatically so it's impossible to burn or overcook. Nothing sticks to it, The plates wash up nicely with soapy water or can go in the dishwasher. And a drip tray collects excess grease/fat. It's perfect. Tried for the first time, less than 20 minutes it was fully cooked. Unit beeps when done and shuts off. Clean up was so easy. Top and bottom plate easily removes and washes quickly. Before would use a cast iron skillet. Since pork, would boil in water for almost an hour and would have to soak and scrub the pan to get clean.
