    These wheels are great replacements for the plastic ones that come from the manufacturer. They operate smoothly and are durable and will run well on my models for years.

    Wheels were binding in the trucks.

    Some time ago I purchased steel wheel to replace the plastic ones in some of my rolling stock cars. They worked extremely well. Unfortunately I don't remember the brand name. I decided to do six more cars so I purchased two packages of Kadee wheels. It turned out that the little cone shaped tips were just a little too large for the trucks causing the cars not to roll easily. I'm going to purchase a different brand and hope I get lucky. Others did not have problems with Kadee but I did. Maybe you will have better luck.

    Quality replacement wheels at an affordable price.

    Kadee products are by far the best on the model railroad market. Their wheels depict prototypes used from the steam era all the way up to modern day. Installing these on your cars adds needed weight which will improve tracking but they also run smoothly as well. Replacing your plastic wheels with these guarantees smooth running for your rolling stock.
