Quite surprising sound from rather diminutive earphones. What's most surprising is the bass. You can easily hear the lower frequency sound quite a lot better than any other earphones I've owned. I usually avoid Sony as a brand as their equipment is typically pricey and the quality is not what I would deem worthy of msrp. But these are rather different. The sound is quite surprising and the lows don't cancel out or muffle the mods and highs in any way. Rather, it complements them quite well. Jaw droppin' Bass poundin' sound
All I have to say is, its like a Earth shakin', sub whoofin' concert in my head. the sound is so vivid, watching movies on my Ipad hearing every tone and depth, crinkle and whisper. The 13.5 mm drivers, makes the low rumbling sounds like explosions sound out of this world crazy. Best earbuds I have ever owned, you cannot hear anything going around you because of the snug fit. And because of that snug fit, no one gets to listen to what you are listening to. super bass great highs all around super great plus get the poweramp app if u r goin 2 spend money on earbuds this is the way 2 go cause it makes up in sound quality iv had these pair 4 about a yr now im still amazed at the sound n so r my peeps i bought 2 pair never want 2 b without great sound works well with a preamp

for the money they are great almost as good as my westone 3s a little smaller soundstage than the westones but much more bass , very nice sound do not hesitate to buy especially for 50 bucks best head phone under 100 for sure
