I had purchased this item elsewhere seven years ago and it was about an inch too short for my '99 Civic sedan. This time it was a few inches too long and was able to trim to perfection! Be aware this can be installed backwards so make sure the top most "fin" seal points to the outside of the trunk and not inwards. Also if you still have water collecting after you install this seal you most likely have old seam sealer that will need attention. Not the weather strip's fault!
