If you are interested in purchasing the 22qt pressure cooker beaware of it's size. It is quite a bit larger than you would initially think. With the stove top in my apartment was a tad too small and had issues with heating it up properly. This thing will hold 7qt jars comfortable and upwards of 25 halve pint jars. However, if you need a large, heavily durable pressure cooker this is what you need. Just watch a video on how to use a weighted guage pressure cooker, because getting it to work can be a pain.

As always Mirro makes a quality pressure cooker. Due to the quality, I am not afraid to cook under pressure, no matter how many times I am warned to be careful. With Mirro pressure cookers, the lid stays on when used properly, and when the equipment is well maintained. Maintenance brings me to another thing I love about Mirro...there is no problem finding replacement parts. My mom used Mirro, and after hearing my grandmother blew beans all over her kitchen, using another brand of cooker, I will never use anything else.

I gave this to my kids as a Christmas present and they said it worked fine. However, which of the three (3) gigglers to use was confusing. Also, after ordering this one I found one on Amazon that was alot cheaper but it was to late to change the order and receive it by Christmas. That's the reason for the good value being no.

Just got this delivered a few days ago and have used it three times already. GREAT product, easy to use and instructions' manual is simple to understand. Quality of the pressure cooker/canner is GREAT! This is my first ever pressure canner and I would highly recommend for the beginner!

Great pressure cooker but, the instructions are not too good. Meaning it took a while to figure out how to get the pressure weight to rock. Instructions do not tell you how. You have to unscrew the black thing at the top of the weights about a 1/4 inch before it will rock when at right PSI. Otherwise it will hiss like crazy every 20 seconds when at pressure. Real loud! Other then that, great price and great cooker.
