    Functional at a great price

    I have used this bit, happy with the quality for only $20...It takes a little time setting up the router table, make sure you have a few pieces of scrap to test. Your wood must be square and use feather boards...The post says you can use it on 1/2" thick wood. There is no way you can use this with 1/2" thick wood THE BIT ONLY WORKS WITH 7/16" THICK WOOD

    Good bit for the money.

    You can spend 2 to 3x the cost for a similar bit and you will not get better performance. The challenge is setting the height and fence to get the proper cut. I found a good article that explained how to do this but you can't include that in the review---- (dumb because it would help sales) that said there are some good articles that will help in understanding this critical aspect. I'm using it on 3/8 stock.

    lock miter bit

    Works nice and is a really accurate cut. Have patience setting up router table to get precise height and depth adjustments and the end product will be spot on. Seems like a really secure joint that it makes. Thanks.
