    Loose fitting

    Called universal but does not fit good on my polls. But got me by. Glad I had my polls hip went out on me had 8 miles more to go could not have made it with out them

    Used on older style Simms folding wading staff.

    Took a chance these would work for me,installing on a older style Simms folding wading staff. Simms has a rubber tip for their newer staffs, but not for the older one's. So like i said thought what the heck, give it a try not out much,they where inexpensive and close to the right size. I had to shim up a little with some tape, it appears they will work OK. Proof will be in the use of the staff!

    Safety First

    Without good rubber tips a person with a cane, walking stick or crutches is already on their way to the hospital. These tips seem to be good quality. Safety First. Keep some extras easily available because rubber tips in general can fail in many ways. Some wear out in weeks, or split at the bottom.
