Not bad for the price. Video looks really nice sent from my Hubsan H501S and my MJX Bugs 2 (with a TX03 camera mounted onboard). The only problem I've seen is the video, while using the supplied omnidirectional antenna experiences some signal breakup after about 50 - 75 meters. Changing out the supplied antenna with a nicer 14- to 16-db paddle antenna makes a really big difference and extends the range well past the 300 meter range claimed in the manual. They're light, come with face padding (didn't in past versions of this model), and links up quickly with my drones. Battery life is rated at 3.5 hours and I have run it for 3 (still had a bit of a charge). You can pull it apart and place the screen on a camera stand for audience viewing. All in all, a nice set of goggles for the price. As mentioned above, the only problem is the short range and signal loss with the included antenna.Read full review

Might be a good first. Bought these for spectators to go along the ride with me. These don't have the capability to save video without hacking in a recorder but that's simple enough if you want to. .If your looking for a good first pair spend a little bit more money for some with the recorder built in.

I really like the ev800. They give a beautiful display and is verry light weight. The only down side i see so far is there a gap around the nose area that allows sun light in but for me it isnt a big deal

Works great on my WHOOP inside and I am sure it will work great outside when wind outside quits blowing like a hurricane. Have only had to charge them one time and I fly inside a lot.
