Dell Vostro 220 uses a customized case and motherboard to go with it. The IO shield is actually part of the case so it would be really difficult to fit a better board. Fortunately these boards are OK and very cheap. I bought two because I thought the first one was broken but it was OK. Now I have a spare board which I've fitted in a standard case. No IO shield as it's part of the Vostro case which is annoying. It's not overclockable and I don't know if it takes anything better than a Core2 Duo. I've got it with 4GB RAM and a 2.7 Core2 Duo and Windows 7 64 bit and it's OK. The machine I was repairing I built with an SSD and a HD and it's actually pretty good now. You can even fit a gaming graphics card but only with a better PSU. I don't think I would recommend this board except to fit in a Vostro as the BIOS complains about the front panel audio on the case it's in and no IO shield. However it's a good enough board and it's CHEAP! If you don't care too much then it's OK.Read full review
