Received quickly. I gotta tell you, I A/B'd this against a real SM57. Very close. Surprised, happily so. Good mic to buy on a budget!

    Stagg SM 57 style microphone

Very pleased with the looks and performance of this mic. I use it for vocals because I use a vocal harmonizer and other instruments would bleed into my omnidirectional mic. At this price, it is a huge value and I recommend it highly.

These Mic's are seriously not that different from the original SM57's. The SM57's that I own are a little quieter because they are more compressed than the SDM70's however as far as tone, The only difference that I've heard as a recording engineer was the difference in volume and maybe just a tiny bit of tone difference (Which is BARLEY NOTICEABLE)!! So, if you love SM57's, then you'll definitely love these mic's. I currently use these SDM70's for my PDP DoubleDrive Drum Kit. I've done a few recording sessions with them and was able to do amazing things that I'd normally do with an SM57. If you're looking for drum mic's to fit your budget, I'd highly recommend these SDM70 Mic's. They truly are Amazing Mic's. ~Recording Engineer/Producer Sam from Noriega Studios ...

If you want an SM57 style mic for cheap, this is it. I recorded it side by side with my SM57 and the most notable difference is that the SDM70 is a little louder and has slightly less low end than the SM57. Otherwise, it’s practically identical. I think I might actually prefer this to the SM57... Very glad I gave these a shot, I’ll most likely buy more in the future. 5/5

For $25 this microphone is unbelievable you have to try it out to see it and hear it in person, buy four of them if you get a chance because 4 is the same price as one Shure SM57, it is money well spent.
