Best buy for any watch collector or person looking for a watch! This comes with the chronograph is super rugged and good-looking almost like combination of a speedmaster and an aviator watch!the silver and black go good with the orange tones on the watch... It actually looks and acts like a watch worth hundreds of dollars more.. I have a small watch collection.. I have three of this Casio pilot aviator chronograph because love it so much one with a metal strap.... One with a NATO green strap and one with a brown leather strap... Buy this beautiful cool watch before it's gone!

This watch is presented as though it was an aviator watch, however there are certain features omitted that would be required in a true aviator. First, there is no lume whatsoever. Despite having some kind of light colored paint on the hands and indices, nothing glows or illuminates. Second, the indices are too small and hard to read. Especially the slide rule. I have to pull out a magnifying glass to be able to read it. Try doing that while piloting a small aircraft... And last of my issues with it is the fact that the chronograph doesn't measure below single seconds and again is too small to read. All of that said, it is a nice looking and very affordable watch. If you don't need a super-precise chronograph, and can read tiny print on the slide rule, youmay want to check it out.

Since I always liked the look of the classic chronographs, like the Omega "moon" models etc, but found them way too expensive for me, I immediately took an interest in this Casio (this company is one of the most productive when it comes to new, advanced and high-tech models at a moderate price). The looks and functions are classic. Size is just right - not overly big and suits even a smaller wrist. Everything works fine (the reset button works through "mechanical" linkage and needs a harder press than expected). The calculator bezel might be handy - but only if you have very good eyesight! (numbers are very small). One minor disadvantage is that it has no date window. Otherwise a great-looking and functional watch at a great price!
A combination of a chronograph (stopwatch) and slide rule can carry you through a truly impressive array of problems. For those who enjoy mechanical things, this may not be as exciting as an automatic watch, but it's a lot more interesting than a digital watch and a calculator. Unfortunately, it's apparently designed more for aesthetics than functionality. If you have good eyes, the slide rule is on par with many such designs. Certainly not the worst I've used. However, the chronograph sub dials leave a lot to be desired. The center second hand is great and works perfectly, but the minute and hour hand are VERY difficult to read, being so wide on such a small scale. I attempted to clock my car last night over a steady 10-mile course, and even with a magnifier, I couldn't properly tell if my time was 7:34 or 8:34. If you don't care so much about the chronograph, or really only need to read accurately in seconds, this is a great watch. Otherwise, the sub-dials really let this watch down.Read full review

I bought the watch for two reasons. (1) It is classy looking, yet practical and functional, and (2) it was a very good price for a slide rule chronograph. The watch keeps time accurately, the stopwatch function is smooth and accurate, the watchband fits my wrist nicely, iit is light enough not to be a bother, it looks great, it withstands punishment well, and the slide rule is good to have for day-to-day calculations. For the price it's a good bargain, considering the functions and comparing it to similar watches. On the negative side, the slide rule bezel & scale is hard to read in low light because the numbers are so small. Also, I miss the date function. I would recommend this to a friend after explaining the caveats above.
