I've owned, still own, more than 8 Streamlight products. All top quality and all function perfectly. This TLR-6 was no exception. This is for a Glock 42/43 and it fits like a glove on the pistol. It lights up an 800 sq/ft room very nicely at night. You won't have any problems seeing what you're aiming at. And the laser is great for the distance you will need on this type gun. Weighs almost nothing. Very tight aiming adjustments and it is secure on the gun. Ambi controls. Just press any side button and it comes on. Or you can press and hold and when you release, it goes off, for when you just want a quick view of an area. With the light on, press both buttons on each side and it cycles through, laser only, light only, laser and light together. Haven't had it long enough to test the battery life, but I'd guess it works as advertised as all the other ones I own do. Plenty of holsters out there to fit this combo as well. Perfect little pocket gun now has a laser/light to boot. You'll be happy with it. Go on. Get one! Read full review

I had to send it back to the factory for a defect and stream light sent me a new one the next day. The laser light works well, but seems very delicate and would not hold up in a hostile environment, but for every day conceal carry it will be fine.

I'm a retired police officer and I don't like hanging a lot of gadgets on my guns like they're Christmas trees. They add weight, they get caught on clothing, in the bush and it's just one more thing for Mr Murphy to mess with. My wife keeps a Glock 43 on the nightstand for home defense and carries it concealed for personal defense. Statistically it is more likely to be used as a personal defense weapon during the day and as a home defense weapon at night. A light source to illuminate the target indoors in the dark is indispensable. A laser to designate the point of impact makes hits all but certain. This unit meant I didn't have to choose between the two because it has both. The rounded design without edges is well thought out and won't catch on clothing or on brush outdoors. The switch is perfectly located so as not to interfere with a proper grip. It adds little weight and frankly on this particular weapon, it actually helps balance the gun in a small hand. And if that wasn't enough, there are already holsters out there to accommodate the light so you don't have to go custom (expensive). It's easy to install. By all appearances it is well made and will hold up under real use. Streamlight products are not cheap but in my opinion this one was worth every penny and I'm trusting my wife's life with this combination of a reliable gun that she can control and a point/aim system that doesn't feel like an add on gadget; it feels more like it's part of a weapon system. I hope I never have to review it's actual use but if it does get used, I'll be back with that report. Read full review

This makes it look like it came from the factory. It looks like it’s meant to be there, the light is bright, laser has to be sighted in but is really bright and very easy to sight in. Highly recommend this especially if your g42/g43 is for home defense or a carry gun, you don’t get to pick where or when you might have to use it, but this makes you ready every time you carry. Really great for off hand and non dominant hand shooting. Just don’t forget to buy a new holster that accepts it.

This light/laser combo is a great match for the Glock 43. Be sure you buy holsters made for the gun with the TLR 6 attached since it made to install on the gun and leave it on. The 100 lumen rated light is plenty for clearing all but mansion size houses. The laser is easily adjusted to match the point of aim of the gun’s sights. The point of impact will change at ranges other than what it’s sighted in at. The light/laser is easy to program to the setting (light & laser, light only or laser only) you want, and the on/off button is in a good location, exactly where my trigger finger rests alongside the frame.
