    • A Gem of a story, Taken from the soldiers own mouths!

Excellent book if you have an interest in the original men. Some conflicting stories when you read this book and compare it with others in the past. I would tend to go with what is in this book taken from the soldiers own words, I give the example of how Jock Lewes died, a few soldiers give different accounts in other books. I know however that my great uncle Jimmy Storie was there when Jock died and helped bury him. A great overall read for anyone interested in military.

    • All heroes

David Stirling and his s.a.s heroes ,without these guys the war would have been lost. Paddy mayne not getting a V.C is a travesty the guy was a one man killing machine
