I have two recommendations: 1. Tuning it up the E string snapped and scratched the finish (wrong choice of strings). 2. Also the bridge location made the octave fret about 25 cents sharp (100 cents equalling a semitone). (There should be a standard of measurement between the nut and the bridge). Once I set it up I have never experienced a finer quality of tone, presence or diversity of color in any guitar. I attribute this tonal excellence to the spruce and mahogany. It resonates like a dream.
