      Light weight and convenient

      I bought this for my Canon 5D Mk2 - works perfectly. Very light-weight and small enough to fit easily in to your pocket or in your camera bag. The small hole through the unit in the bottom-left corner allows you to put it on a key ring. I've attached some elastic to mine with a quick release clasp on the other so I can clip it to my tripod. That way it's always with me and I know exactly where it is. It's difficult to tell the difference between this and the genuine Canon product, but considerably cheaper. I would recommend it.

      Low cost IR remote works well with T3i even from off axis

      This IR remote control worked fine with my Canon EOS Rebel T3i. I was happy to discover that it worked well from the side of the camera. I purchased it to use mainly to prevent camera shake and it seems to work well for that. The remote is very small and light. I can't comment yet on its durability, because I have only had it a month and used it only in test conditions. However, for the price, it is easy to buy and own, even if only for occassional use.
