    I believe that this was an outstanding book and I would highly recommend this book to anyone. The value of this book was exceptional and my book club loved it. They read and discussed important topics of it.

    SULA THE THE HUSBAND TAKER AND GOOD SAMARITAN

    I LOVE THE FACT THAT THE BOOK TAKES PLACE IN THE EARLY 1920'S AND TAKES YOU RIGHT ALONG WITH ITS HISTORY. YOU LEARN WHAT THINGS THEY ATE, MEDICINE USED AND THE TYPES OF ILLNESS THEY HAD TO OVERCOME. THE MYSTERY OF TWO LITTLE GIRLS WHO BEST FRIENDS END UP HATING EACH OTHER AFTER ONE TAKES THE OTHERS HUSBAND. THEN NEL FINDS FRIENDSHIP ONLY AFTER DEATH. I ABSOULTELY LOVED THIS BOOK.

    wasnt a big fan on the book. i had to read it for my college english, but im not a big book reader, had some interesting situations other than that i would not read it again.
