    600W Grid-Tie Inverter / Micro Inverters are hit and miss.

    This unit seems very finicky about the supply it will run on without erroring out. It is advertised as 22-60v, but it can't seem to cope with a 24v panel, only a 36v. And two 24v panels in series give an over-voltage alarm. This is actually a replacement for a previously bought identical model that did not want to accept any PV panel (12v, 24v or 36v nominal/nameplate ; I tried the little 12v 80W PV panel to see if the nameplate was mislabelled from the lower voltage range variant!) so there are obviously design and/or quality issues. yet one I bought a year ago has not faulted (also for 36v nameplate panel)

    these are viable as long as you know how to correctly use them

    As long as you know what your doing these work quite well . Out of the 4 units purchased I have had 1 failure but that's fairly common with electronics the other units have been operational long enough now to pay for themselves so the system works .
