        Pretty doll with a great articulated body

        I love the Made to Move Barbie bodies, the articulation is truly spectacular and I was pleasantly surprised that the dolls look better in real life than they do when photographed. The MtM Barbie with the purple top has the Lea head sculpt, which is one of my favourite sculpts. She is very simple, elegant and pretty. The hairstyle and makeup are minimal, but they work with this lovely face. The only fault I can think of is the fact that her head is full of glue, like with most Barbies that come out of Mattel these days. If this bothers you, then stay clear of this doll. Personally, I will be rerooting her, but not everyone has the time or the patience to undertake this. I would not recommend this doll for young children, because her numerous joints make her pretty fragile and easy to break, ...

        Beautiful poseable doll

        This gorgeous doll comes in yoga clothes as pictured in the product photo and is definitely made to move. She is flexible at her neck (head is on ball-joint and can turn side to side and up and down), and at her upper waist, which is also a ball-joint so she can pose her upper body upward, downward, or side to side). Her waist does not swivel like some action figures. However, her hips are ball-jointed so she can spread her legs out from side to side -- not quite able to do the splits, but she can be made to sit in full-lotus position. Her shoulders are ball-jointed like her hips (she can almost reach to lock her hands behind her). For instance, you can pose her in a back-arch. Her elbows, knees, wrists, and ankles are all hinge-joints that bend one-way for realism. Her hair is long and ...

        Love the made-to-move dolls!

        These dolls allow kids the freedom to express their imaginative take on life with body language. Adults don't always realize it's the little details of daily interactions that kids notice and aren't always able to verbally explain to us their curiosity. These dolls can possibly open a window for us parents if we pay attention to our little ones play.

        best Barbie ever

        They're really not joking around with 22 points of articulation on this doll! She can hold so many amazingly lifelike poses...it makes her really fun to play with and photograph. The purple top doll's face doesn't seem to have any eyeshadow, or painted eyelashes, so if you're into adding those things she's a good point to start from. Her body feels sturdy and well made, although she won't stand on her own unless you give her some ankle support in the form of boots or something. These dolls are "made to move" but they look really good when they're just lounging, too. ;)

        Beautiful doll, love the articulation.

        I love the Made To Move dolls. They are so much fun to pose. They've spoiled me and now I want all of my dolls to be articulated. :) Mattel did very well on these dolls. This one in particular is a beautiful Asian doll and one of my favorites of the MTM line.
