The only thing worth noting is that the battery life is a much, much shorter than with a standard GBA. I don't know if it's the custom screen or if it's something else internally which is drawing too much energy. Otherwise, I'm satisfied with the product.

    Custom Pikachu Themed AGS-101 GBA SP

    Great little handheld! I bought it because I wanted to play my old Pokémon games on a gba for a bit of nostalgia . But because the one I had laying around had a nonfunctional screen I decided I wanted a new one. This Pikachu themed gba so is great! It's almost exactly like the limited edition one Nintendo once sold, but with red buttons (which I think suits it better) instead of brown. The system itself functions pretty well. All the buttons are responsive, games run smoothly and the charging is nice and fast. Only thing I didn't check is it's wireless/Wired adapter functionality. The only things that might not be so great is that the case has a bit of a stiff plastic feel to it. Personally I don't mind the cheap feel to it, but I'm sure some might. Also while the screen functions great ...

    It looks great but it makes static sound with gameboy color games

    So it looks great the build is solid screen is amazing the problem I have is it has a hard time trying to read gameboy and gameboy color games it freezes and when I do get it to work there's this static sound that that doesn't leave. I've tried to many times. In conclusion the gameboy advance sp looks great but a bit defective unfortunately..

    Excited to finally play it when my charger arrives.

    I’ll start by saying that I had a gameboy advanced Sp as a kid and I am really excited to own one again. I’m a little disappointed that this item arrived with just a little bit of a charge with no charger included as depicted in the picture. It looked like there was supposed to be a space for it in the box; however, it was nowhere to be found. I’m still really excited about playing it, the graphics look just like I remember and all the parts seem to be in order. The outer shell does seem a little cheaper and more plastic-y than what I remember, but it works and that is what matters. Overall, I’d say it’s a good value.
