The strut seems to make the tailgate sit lower which is hitting my rear bar I could only install 1 on one side and leave the factory hanger wire on the other side because the tail gate wont be efficient to be stood on. The design should be used with the wite to hold the wait and not allow the tailgate to go lower then factory. Seems like its not the best modification to do on the hilux
