    Canon EF 28-80mm f/3.5-5.6 V USM

    I have always been a big fan of Canons 50mm prime lens, however this 28-80mm has made me wonder what all the fuss was about. It is without doubt the best value for money lens available today. This little compact zoom lens takes the sharpest images I have ever seen short of spending the thick end of £1000 on a L series lens. This lens is almost always glued to the end of my Canon 1DS MK2, couple it with a EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III USM and that is all the kit you will ever need.

    I love this lens!

    This lens is great so far! I did my homework and this older lens is fitting my intended purpose. I'm sure that one day soon down the road, I was purchase some newer thousand dollar "L" glass equivalent, but with my current budget and cast of lens, this falls directly into my desired place!
