  • PaperMoney - For Follett Fans only

This book was written before Follett became famous (pre Eye of the Needle) under a different pen name. After his success, this book and the Modigliani Scandal were both re-issued. Paper Money is much different than all of Follett's other books because it lacks a central character. Instead there are many different characters that all come together in the end. Since there are so many characters, it makes the first half of the book rather confusing. About half way through you remember all of the players and some of the storylines start to intertwine. This is definitely no Pillars of the Earth, but I wanted to read all of Follett's books. I recommend this for die-hard Follett readers.
