    Nice mix of realism and magic

    Loved this story when I was about 10 or 11. Really feels like you are there experiencing the rustic simple life (and its hardships) with the main character. The magic is the best sort because it is the kind which seems it could truly exist. Recommend!

    teen fantasy novel

    I bought this book after my teen aged daughter and I both read the first book in this series "Wise Child" If you enjoy fantasy novels you will enjoy this book. I think it is appropriate for people ages 12 and up, especially teen girls.

    I love this book!

    I am an avid reader and when I came across this book MANY years ago, I went straight out and bought it...twice. My parent's dog chewed it up both times and now that I am out of their house, hopefully I will be able to keep this copy longer. If you love to read fiction, this is an AWESOME book to pick up!!!!!
