    Unit does not record

    I incorrectly assumed the DVD recorder would record. Turns out I was wrong. It plays some pre-recorded. I already own many DVD players. I know this may sound a bit childish of me but when I put out the money for a recorder I expect it to record!

    Lightweight with great features

    The Sony RDR GX 257 is a really good unit with nice features .

    The Sony RDR GX 300 is a really good DVD Recorder , It does not have S-Video input's .
