      Excellent bang for the buck

      This knife is excellent quality, and a great value for the money. It's a bit on the heavy side, but it's a beautiful, well made piece. The lock is absolutely solid and no wiggle. For the price you can't go wrong - even for a Chinese made Byrd by Spyderco. If it were made in the USA I'd have given it a 5 star.

      Sweet knofe

      Very close to being a Spyderco, the quality, fit and finish are all very good. There are some rough parts that may get better as time goes by. It would be nicer if you could disassemble it and polish the parts yourself as that would be a fun project. This is a heavy knife and it is large, so be prepared for the added heft in your pocket. For the money the Byrd series cannot be beat!

      I've owned several Spyderco knives...best and sharpest from the factory out of all other brands I've owned. This one was no less the knife...awesome!

      Made in China, but you would never think so.

      Has a nice weight to it. Made very well it seems. With the right tools the clip is reversable. Haven't had it very long, but so far it's just what I was looking for in a pocket knife.
