    Linked to failure to thirve and death

    This book can be very dangerous. The AAP actually came out, describing this parenting style, and warned against it. It has been linked to failure to thrive, low weight gain, hospitization and death. The guy who wrote this has no medical training, no child physchology degree - he's just a guy who thinks his way is the best way. There is actually a section that tells you that while in the midst of letting your baby "learn to self sooth" (aka scream their lil' head off) that if the baby vomits from the stress/crying (which he says is normal) to go in the room, not look or say anything to the baby, wipe up or lay a towel over the vomit ..AND WALK BACK OUT.....This is not ok - please stay away from this book....

    sleep

    I thought the book was very similar to many of the other cry it out books. (I read every sleep book out there with my first child) The author sometimes went a little far trying to prove his way is the best way, but I think it's worth a quick read. I wouldn't use it as my sleep bible, but I know many people who do. Overall, it had some good points.

    Awesome book!! Must read for those who are having a new child, GREAT IDEAS

    If you want to teach your child to become self sufficient, a great sleeper with the ability to put themselves to sleep, and a good eater as well, this is the book for you. Should you use this book like its the BIBLE of baby books, absolutely not. Each couple and family need to make those decisions on an individual basis as to what is best for them. But for my wife and I, this book has worked great for our two boys, and we plan on using it again for our 3rd and final little boy on the way.

    IT CHANGED MY LIFE AND MY FAMILY TOO.

    What I like about this book is that it really works, I have used this book on all three of my children and Yes they have slept through the night by 8 wks exactly. What a blessing to be able to be to sleep again. I always purchase this book for every babyshower I go to, just because I have hands on experience with this particular topic. I decided to buy this product, because my friend's daughter was such a happy baby, she slept when she was suppose to and played, ate and was such a joy to be around. You would be amazed how this book could change your life, everyone will say how lucky you are for such a wonderful baby. May this book bless you as it has blessed me.
