Different, well written and strong story lines...enjoy!
Excellent author who really gets you involved in his storytelling and you can't wait to turn the page to see what happens next and before you know it (it's such a good read) you have almost finished the book. Story lines are strong and at times situations are comedic and it just takes you along on the journey...going to purchase more books by this writer.

Richard Osman’s first novel is witty & amusing. It is innovative too to have four oldies as the central characters. Probably best defined as “cosy crime” it also has moments of pathos. The retirement community where the novel is set is rather unlikely although perhaps there are places like this where everyone is beautifully cared for. It was an easy & comfortable read - just the thing for a cold winter’s day. The sequel is due in September 2021. Richard Osman’s first novel is witty & amusing.
