This "sturdy" wooden obelisk weighs less than the cardboard it was packed in. Described as able to free-stand or be sunk in to the soil - with a climbing plant growing on it even a medium wind would blow it over & one season in the soil would rot its feet. The Web photo was a "reversed" image from a Sarah Raven advert - is that legal ? This item is not worth £20 but cost me £40+ ... and sadly I needed two. They will see me through one summer but will have to be replaced. DO NOT BUY !!

    Great looking obelisk

    Lovely obelisk that has immediately freshened up our garden. Was straight forward to assemble taking about 30-45 mins. Would definitely recommend this product, I think I'll have to buy another for the front garden!!

    Mixed Feelings

    Having read quite a few of the reviews before buying, they were spot on with the colour - more yellow than green and a thin coat. The top bobble was a bit wonky and some of the wood was quite rough so took a bit of work, apart from putting it together. Having said all that, we have put it together and painted it and it looks pretty good. If you are not a DIYer it’s not a bad option and reasonable value.

    One to avoid

    sage doesn't describe it has barely seen any colour so will have to paint it. Also comes in too many bits would have been easier and cheaper to have bought a quality product from a garden centre. Unfortunately I bought 2!

    Sage green obelisk

    My only fault with this product was the colour. I ordered the sage green obelisk but it was not sage green at all, as a result I had to paint it myself.
