    Chaplain Thom's illumitnated gunfighters and their guns.

    This book was published and sold by Guns and Ammo magazine some years ago. While full of factual information, it does not read like an encyclopedia but rather like a novel. There are hundreds of thousands out in the market place. 'Like new in the box' is the shape of the one I purchsed, unlike the tatered many seen at second hand stores and garage sales. Looks good, reads good, feels good, smells good too! The history books may gloryfy many of these folk and at the time it was seemed apporiate. The stories are colorful about our eary settling of the western frontier, much like when I moved to Alaska many years ago.

    Guns of the Gunfighters

    I bought this copy to back up my original that I bought new as a kid, has become a little moth eaten. Great articles of major interest if you are interested in the guns of the past and the men who used them. Learned of unknowns to me, John Slaughter, and believe it or not when I was a kid, did not know who Alvin York was, anyway glad to pick up a dup.
