Harry Sanborn (Jack Nicholson) is a perennial playboy with a libido much younger than his years. During what was to have been a romantic weekend with his latest infatuation, Marin (Amanda Peet), at her mother's Hamptons beach house, Harry develops chest pains. He winds up being nursed by Marin's reluctant mother Erica Barry (Diane Keaton), a successful, divorced New York playwright. In the process, Harry develops more heart pangs - the romantic kind - for Erica, an age-appropriate woman whom he finds beguiling. However, some habits die hard. When Harry hesitates, his charming thirtysomething doctor (Keanu Reeves) steps in and starts to pursue Erica. And Harry, who has always had the world on a string, finds his life unravelling.

Contacted the seller and they accused me of being rude, denied that they sent it as a letter (don't know how they could deny it when the evidence is plain to see). Listed as very good condition when it's obviously not (not as described). One of these sellers where nothing is their fault and have a "can't please everyone" mindset. Unprofessional.

I love this movie for many reasons...and will watch it every now and then to get the same fix. The background music is warm hearted, French themed and so romantic with that sense of Europe, and the promise of joy and comfort. Also a mix of wow. The setting fills my heart with joy...the beautiful house, every corner a delight, the beach, the city scenes, the Grand Colbert, all of it wonderful. The characters are likeable and all interesting, funny and enjoyable. The story is satisfying and puts a smile on my face. Working out their issues and coming to a happy ending in an engaging, and in some ways educational way. I wish there was a long version with all the deleted scenes left in. A Good Fun Movie
If you want a few laughs and to enjoy a lighthearted, entertaining movie, this is one! Great cast in Jack Nicholson & Dianne Keaton they keep the pace engaging and funny & is fabulous to watch for a bit of escapism for a few hours. Highly recommend if you’re in the mood for a fun and light movie!
