    Unique tale uniquely told.

    Contrary to what the critics tell you, this really IS a story well-told. Square Pictures went bankrupt telling this story due to the complexity of the CGI done (it was very far ahead of it's time and is still, by current standards, pretty amazing). The story is complicated and, generally, the public don't like complicated - they also don't like stories that seem, in essence, to be of an environmental nature as many have stated about the story line. HOWEVER, sometimes a complicated story is a good one and, in this case, it is. Also, the "environmental" issue at hand seems to be more of spirituality (NOT religious in nature, mind you) than an environmentally preachy film like Ferngully or the abomination Happy Feet.     Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within (Blu-ray Disc, 2007)

    It was a great movie overall. A unique storyline unlike other final fantasy titles, but with the same dedication to directing and production that makes it very deep and captivating. I believed it to be well worth the money, and it makes a good addition to my collection. I recommend it to anyone interested in the amazing final fantasy franchise, and not the plots themselves, as this does not tie in to anything else as far as I know. Overall a good movie.

    Awesome movie

    Don't listen to the haters there just mad cause it really shouldn't have final fantasys name on it. If it was just called the spirits within it would be a 10/10

    I enjoyed the movie,

    yes it is old and yes the eyes are dead. But I got it for it entertainment value, and to replace a damaged DVD.
