    Replacing borrowed copy.

    A close relative suggested this years ago and I then lent my copy...of course never returned! I was talking about this wonderful book to a friend recently and just had to buy one for them, and one for me...so funny and a brilliant uplifting story, well before its time...sad too but best yo take as a comic, daft and refreshing story.

    Eccentric and endearing

    This was probably much funnier at the time it was written, with topical allusions now last. Nonetheless there is something very charming about the writing, and it is comforting to read if you feel something of a nobody yourself.
