    Buy a better unit.

    Contrast is low - can barely see display even with fresh batteries. It has a clock but you'll need magnifier to see it. No humidity sensor.

    Nice large numerals but no backlight.

    Compact and reliable. The screen has no backlight but it does not require a power cord connection that makes it easy to hang on the wall and avoid the rats nest of cords.

    GREAT

    We have only had this thermometer for about two weeks. It seems to be working great. But keep in mind the temperature has not been above 20 degrees since we got it. It does move from zero to 20 so I am sure as the weather warms here the thermometer will work fine.
