It's a Dewalt; what else needs to be said. Could there be improvements. Yes, it needs a larger blade holder so you can fit some hook blades in with the straight blades. But all in all it is a great knife, especially if you have a big hand like I do. The blade changing is one of the easiest there is. It securely locks in the closed, mid, and fully open positions so you can lean on it without fear of it retracting...as long as you keep your finger away from the slide button on top. I'd highly recommend this knife for anyone who uses one of these frequently. I like this knife for drywall and the Bostitch two blade for roofing because a hook blade is readily accessible.

Great quality knife. Handle feels comfortable, and grip strips are sturdy. The packaging really should come with instructions, or more pictures. There is only a pic. that shows 2 arrows for blade replacement. Well I fiddled, and messed with it forever before I finally found and opened the blade storage area. This storage area comes with at least 4 blades, and is sealed tight to prevent water or moisture from coming in. The button was very tight and difficult to hold down. But, maybe because I don't have the automatic know how that comes with experience, and wisdom while using tools. Once I did figure it out the blade it went in perfectly and feels secure. I bought this tool for only $5.00 great deal

This is a real tool. So far works flawlessly. I've been using Milwaukee knives for years but the last one I bought was slightly different and plain didn't work right. Glad I switched.
