Works great with LED lights
I used this switch to replace a non-dimmable motion sensor switch. I had replaced the bathroom light with a LED fixture that was too bright at night when it first came on. I set this switch to come on at 50% brightness, and it works great. Easy to configure all the settings, even after installing the cover plate. That is a great feature, you don't need to uninstall if you want to change delay time or sensitivity. And it starts dimming to lights before it turns them off, so you don't get suddenly left in the dark.I used this switch to replace a non-dimmable motion sensor switch. Will Not stay in the dimmer light mode! Keeps reverting to full light.
No matter what we do, when I go back in the room it Always reverts back to FULL BRIGHT. This is Not wanted especially in the middle of the night. There fore we cannot use it! This was purchased for the bathroom. So you can understand why during the night we prefer a dimmer light. So do not use in your bathroom, you will not be happy.

I only have (2) wires in my junction box. I do not have a ground and this sensor works. Most sensors require a ground. This will save you time & $$..
I am running a four light restroom light fixture and I have CFL bulbs in them. I put in a Lutron MSCK-OP153MH-WH. This is an occupancy sensor with dimmer. Once hooked up, the lights came on and off (off completely). I only have two wires in my junction box. No Ground wire was used. NOTE: because this is a dimmer Lutron switch, my CFL bulbs are a bit louder than usual. Please be willing to deal with a slight louder buzz than normal from the CFL bulbs. I am planning on switching out the CFL bulbs as soon as my 16 pack of 100W equivalent 13w used LED bulbs come in the mail so the noise from the CFL bulbs aren't a factor. I can only hope that the LED bulbs aren't as loud as the CFL non dimming bulbs are. Buyer Be Ware. I also purchased the Leviton IPS06 motion sensor switch at the same time. ... I called Leviton and specifically told them that I only had (2) wires in my junction box (No Ground). The IPS06 is the one they recommended. There is a huge problem. I hooked up the IPS06 and I was excited that I was able to use a motion sensor without having a ground. However, once the light went out (turned off), I noticed that 2 out of 4 of my CFL bulbs were still flickering. 10 minutes later, they were still flickering. I took the Brand New in the box Leviton out and replaced it with this Lutron MSCL-OP153MH-WH and it worked just like any other motion sensor. Keep in mind, Most Motion Sensors Require A Ground so being able to use a motion wall switch sensor is huge for me. I Strongly Recommend That You Use Dimmable Bulbs to be able to maximize the capabilities and functions of this dimmer switch. To put it another way, Non Dimmable Light bulbs, florescent tubes and/or any other lighting that is not "Specifically" labeled as dimmable will not dim even with this dimmer switch. PLUS the bulbs will make a loud buzzing sound and potentially over heat. If you choose to use this dimmer switch without a dimmable bulb, keep the light switch setting to 100% full power. Although I strongly suggest you purchase some dimmable bulbs should you choose to buy this (or any other) dimmable switch of any kind. PS Read the instructions on how to change the timer, sensitivity, occupancy sensor etc... It is not intuitive. You Must Read The Instructions.

Best occupancy switch with dimmer
I have had quite a few occupancy switches over the years and this one is by far the best. I decided to install a few in my bathroom and was looking for the ability to dim (which is hard to find with an occupancy sensor). These switches are very feature rich and have great circuitry. I have used other brand switches with manual dimmer switches and they don’t allow for a preset of brightness when occupancy is detected. These switches also provide a nice ramp up and ramp down instead of an instant on which is nice. You can configure just about every feature which is nice too. I highly recommend this dimmer if you are looking for a dimmer/occupancy combo.I have had quite a few occupancy switches over the years and this one is by far the best. Lutron saves the day!
Before this wonderful product, I had a wifi-enabled occupancy sensor/dimmer from China. With the old device, it would only allow me to have a shut off time of 10 minutes or longer. The old device also would go on for no reason even if no one was in the room and if I was in the room, it would shut off and not detect that I was still in the room. Lutron Maestro, on the other hand, doesn't need wifi. It is so versatile programming-wise. It has never gone on once when no one is in the room. And while I was in the room, it never shut off prematurely. This unit has exceeded my expectations and is the best I have seen.
