About the Brand
In 1941 Gail Manufacturing Company started offering American leather goods to the market and gradually received recognition among the audience. It was not until the mid-1970s when it was renamed to Coach Products Inc., and later in 1980 to Coach Leatherware Compnay. By contrast with its name, the good business sense and quality ideas in leather manufacturing remained constant. The company expanded into producing women’s handbags, small accessories and in 2007 debuted with its first fragrance Coach for women – a fresh and energetic scent with tender floral nuances and vintage notes.

    Great scent but, wears of VERY quicky

    I purchased legacy perfume because I know Coach makes great products. I had received a sample in the mail. It has a beautiful scent but, the scent wears off very quickly. Within 1/2hr of my neighbor & myself putting it on, my husband had to smell my shirt to tell I was wearing a perfume. Tried 2 & 3 squirts - still wore off very quickly. I would buy again only if Coach fixed this problem. I have 6 perfumes I wear & all the others have scents that last - I can put on one of them &, when my husband gets home 1/2 hr later, he gives me a hug & tells me how good I smell. He doesn't say it when I put on Coaches Legacy. Shame because it smells so good.

    Older Formula Coach Legacy is the BEST!!

    I love this perfume! Being that they now have discontinued this version makes it most difficult to find and be authentic! Like other designers that find the need to alter or as they call it "improve" the existing scent... is no improvement at all....they end up changing the scent completely while trying to keep the name. All that to say, this now older Coach Legacy is a wonderful fresh fragrance perfect for the summer and everyday wear.
