Rival heroes Naruto and Sasuke follow different paths toward a shared goal: preventing the world's destruction by the Genryu -- five legendary dragons -- and defeating the hateful Dragon Guardian leader who has unleashed their elemental fury. Breaking from the fighting game format of the Wii's Clash of Ninja Revolution series, Dragon Blade Chronicles is a full-fledged action-adventure. Ninja-style fighting is a fundamental part of the game, but combat plays out in the flow of the third-person missions. Naruto wields the Dragon Blade, which is the key to defeating the Fire, Wind, Lightning, Earth, and Water dragons. The sword can be empowered with orbs taken from defeated dragons, and so Naruto's elemental might becomes more versatile with each boss-battle victory. In his travels, Naruto also acquires scrolls that teach him new special abilities, such as "Shadow Clone," "Fire Ball," and "Mud Wall," to give him an edge in combat or help him to overcome obstacles. The game's story involves all the main characters from the animated series, and in some situations, Naruto can call for help from his specially skilled friends and allies.

Must have for any Naruto fan! Great storyline and full-voiced cutscenes!
I love Naruto, so I wanted to get this for a while. It was fun and I beat story mode in two days, versus is also fun, but you can only be Sasuke or Naruto so that is boring soon. I plan to play it again. The only thing I didn't like about it was that when there was a lot of big enemies, the game would run slowly and glitchy. After a few seconds, it would run smooth, but after I was mercilessly hit repeatably. I want to Cosplay as this now, lol. I thought you would have to use the Wii Motion-Plus, but you can use the gamecube or classic controller, which is better for me. I bought the Wii Motion-Plus for Skyward Sword (Legend of Zelda), so if I had to, I was gonna use it. The graphics are pretty much like the usual video game graphics of the Naruto Universe. The Opening Graphics Video was ... I love Naruto, so I wanted to get this for a while. It was fun and I beat story mode in two days, versus is also fun, but you can only be Sasuke or Naruto so that is boring soon. I plan to play it again. Naruto Shippuden: Dragon Blade Chronicles
This game really wasn't what I expected it to be. I tried it once for maybe an hour, if not, less, and I just wasn't so into it. I am a huge Naruto fan, but this wasn't their best game released. Don't assume it's like the Clash of Ninja series. Unless you love Naruto no matter what, this is a game for you. I just thought it could've been better.

Excellent game for kids that is into this kind of stuff.I bought this game for my 12yr old cousin it was his main request for his bday. my only dislike is the fact you can only play with two characters
