Simple, conventional alarm clock
This is simple to use, has fairly large "always-on" lighted display, battery backup. That's what I needed for clock that sits several feet away from bed as a backup. I don't need other elaborate features that are already on my iPhone. The only other feature I would have paid for is "atomic clock" automatic setting, but it's not available on otherwise simple alarm clocks. Hot to the touch.
I plugged it in during the afternoon and set the time. When I went to bed, I was going to set the alarm. When I picked up the clock it was very hot to the touch. Then I noticed a smell coming from it. It smelled like burning plastic. It worried me so I unplugged it. I did not want to wake up the clock being on fire. I let it cool then threw it in the trash. I went online and that is when I saw other reviews that talked about the clock being hot. I wish I would have seen those before I bought it.I plugged it in during the afternoon and set the time. Good alarm clock for the money
If you want only an alarm clock with minimal controls, this is it. It has up to two alarms you can set. It is only a clock/alarm. It is very lightweight. Brightness and display are good. Alarm buzzer is loud enough to wake me up, and I'm a pretty sound sleeper.

Great Alarm Clock, Easy To Use
This is a great alarm clock. Unlike some today, this is very straightforward to program. I bought it because the last ones I bought were too much of a pain to use' this one is not. It has buttons and switches that are easy to understand, and make programming it easy. It reminds me of the set up on the early large LED electronic alarm clocks I HIGHLY recommend it !.
