    Direct Bolt-on Except Rear Fender

    I like the Acerbis plastic kits. It is an inexpensive way to change the color of a bike. All of the parts are a direct bolt-on, but be prepared to modify the rear fender, depending on the year of your DRZ. Mine is a 2014, and I had to do a fair amount of cutting the tabs on the rear fender to make it fit. It is doable, but you have to have the tools and the patience.

    Not what I expected from a company like acerbis

    For acerbis I'm not impressed. It works and it fits the price for the entire plastics kit was good, but the plastics themselves are cheap and flimsy. I would have expected something a bit more solid from a company like acerbis but this is just cheap material.. they are much thinner and much more flimsy than the oem plastics.. they work but not sure how long they will last. The right side number plate that covers the pipe did not come with heatsheild so you will 100% need to buy and install your own heatsheild or it will absolutely melt the plastics near the pipe

    DRZ400SM owners BEWARE.

    I know it states way in the bottom that you need to modify for the S /SM models. But it's not just the rear fender, it's the rear side panels as well. You have to cut the notch in each one for where the leather strap that goes over the seat. Other than that, great quality. The front fender is pretty big and dorky, so I think I'm going to get the acerbis supermoto one. I have a 2015 SM and the white looked like complete garbage after all these years.

    plastics

    Plastics fit good on 2015 drzsm except rear fender needs to be modified. This kit is probably for dirt bike version perfectly. Modification requires removal of some plastic on the sides and a hole for the wiring harness. Very minimal easy modification.

    Excellent after market plastics

    Item shipped quickly & was exactly as described. As per the item description, the rear fender took a little modification to fit the SM model, but this was easy enough and all other parts went on without alteration. Great product, thank you!
