Peace is not the way, the way is peace
Sacred Journey of the Peaceful Warrior, Dan Millman, 2004. H J Kramer, Tiburon, California. Sacred Journey is not so much a sequel to Way of the Peaceful Warrior as it is an insertion. Millman says you can read up to page 184 of Way of the Peaceful Warrior, then read of his Sacred Journey, then finish the last 27 pages of the first book. If Dan learned how to take care of the body and mind in the first novel, what he learns in Sacred Journey is how to love. How to love himself, his new mentor Mama Chia, and all of the people of the world. As Mama Chia teaches him, she shows him a white tower corresponding to the seven chakras of the body. As he experiences each floor through visualizations and working with Mama Chia to heal the community members of Molokai Island in Hawaii, Dan tries time ...
