The movie is top notch Great 👍👍😀💯% on all levels!!! Acting, directing, location, writing. Some scenes are a nod to the John Carpenter film, but are complimentary, & add to the story, of the Thing! The backstory is terrific as well, Being a fan of the Carpenter film, I didn't know what to make of this version, but having purchased, & watched the Blu Ray, I love it just as much as the John Carpenter film😀 If you are a fan of the Carpenter film, Don't hesitate to purchase this version of The Thing!!, You will not be disappointed! There are a lot of interesting twists & turns in this film, It keeps you guessing what is going to happen next. The special effects are also very well done, with a minimum of computer generated effects, which is good. The Thing , the creature itself, has to be ...
