Works, although lacks many of the features of the original controller
The D-Pad is acceptable, the shoulder buttons are acceptable, the face buttons are acceptable although the pressure sensitivity is extremely poor, the start/select buttons are acceptable and finally the analogue sticks are very poor as they have almost no precision in their movement to the point where it feels as if they are either on or off with very little movement in between. The analogue sticks also only work in eight directions, when it should have higher precision such as in the original controller. There is no force feedback. Overall the form of the controller is near identical to the original with only minor differences to build materials and construction, so I would say that this is an acceptable controller for playing through games that don't require much precision or for games that can only use the D-Pad such as PS1 games.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

The controllers are not original as the image would have you believe. the sticks only respond properly when pointed in one of 8 directions although the still work outside of those specific points. The quality is poor in terms of how brittle the plastic is but they do work, they do not seem to break down easily and they do not cost an awful lot so really you get what you pay for. I would look for original controllers but these are a passable replacement if none can be found. you can play games properly with these controllers.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

A cheap replacement, but not a patch on an original
This imitation controller works fine, looks fine and is a perfectly functional replacement, but if you're looking for something that could be mistaken for a Sony original look elsewhere. Building materials are just slightly cheap, seams are slightly uneven and buttons are slightly stiff, although I suppose that might alleviate with prolonged use. A perfect ergonomic controller for a modded PC
Needs a USB adapter (see my other purchase reviews) for use with a PC but it would work out of the box for a PS2 I am sure of it, seeing how well it works on a modded PC. Fantastic product - exactly what I needed
After reading some of the reviews for the product to be some cheap piece of plastic, but at tge end of the day anything would be better than the clunky wireless battery operated controllers that i had been using previously (they were too expensive to use). Anyway, I recieved the items two days after I had ordered them which was fantastic and I immediately inspected the controller before I even plugged it in. I had great weight, lighter than the ps3 controller but still felt good in my hands. I pushed the buttons a few times and none of them seemed to catch, instead them made a resolute clicking sound that sounded beautiful - this was clearly an excellent piece of kit for the price that I bought it. Then I plugged it in and again perfection. Worked just like my original controller which sadly died after 13 years of use. I put it through a few games - Puzzle Bobble 2, Top Angler Angler and Eternal Ring. There was no drop in quality whatsoever. Could not be happier.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Okay replacement controller
With the price of new genuine Sony PS2 controllers being in the £60 region, this is a good value alternative. The downsides are it's a bit on the light side so does not feel as good quality, and the cable is around two-thirds the length of an original controller.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Functional And Cheap
Functional And Cheap Handles exactly like the genuine Sony Dualshock controller. It does not take quite the same amount of abuse that a genuine Sony controller will but given the much cheaper price, it probably should not be expected. Perhaps not so good for the heavy handed gamer - at least they are cheap to replace if they get shattered. Very happy
I bought this as I needed a second controller for my old but faithful PS2 - so I can play games on it with my 5 year old nephew. The new controller is certainly much better than my 15 year old original PS2 controller, and probably just as good as new authenticate PS2 controller (if there is such a thing now).
