    Pentax-FA 200mm

    Great sharp lens, much better than the A version that came before it. Focal length is good for tight portraiture, head and shoulders. Excellent copies of this lens are readily available on eBay for bargain prices compared to other similar Pentax-FA lenses. I highly recommend it.

    Not just another lens

    The 200mm f4.0 is a standout, even amongst Pentax' other 645 primes, such as the 120mm macro. It's as sharp as you'd expect for a Pentax prime, with no artefacts and fantastic control of depth of field. It's almost too long for portraiture (unless you're very shy) and not quite long enough for sports action, but in it's range it's a spectacular option.

    One of the Pentax lenses that is hard to find, it is compact, sharp and excellent to use in Photo studio,works perfectly with my new 645D,I highly recommend this lens to wedding and portrait photographer.Pentax optics deliver sharp images with new Pentax 645d digital camera.
